As I lie on my bed, looking at the majesty of Truro Cathedral bathed in the last rays of the day’s unexpected sun, all becomes clear…

It isn’t the heart-warming array of colours reflecting from the leaves of this glorious city’s many trees. It isn’t the soothing sounds of the few birds still whispering their evening greetings to each other. And it isn’t the grey, blue hues gently graduating from the horizon up to the awesome expanse of the late May sky….

No, it’s the shocking, bloody fact that it’s not even 9pm and I’m in bed with the alarm already set for the morning. To add insult to aged injury, I’m also wearing flannelette pyjamas (I won’t mention the faux leopard print pattern) and I don’t even care!

But fear not, dear reader, this horrific uncultured, unstimulating (for non-flannelette fetishists) scene is not taking place at Scattered HQ. Oh no. At Scattered HQ, exciting things are afoot.

Hot on the heels of the awesomeness that was May 8^th follows the pesky little, energetic upstart known as June 5^th. You just can’t keep this one down. If it’s not yapping at your knees reminding you of the second Scattered Art exhibition soon to take place, it’s making fruity gestures with your leg and, you know, you’re both kind of enjoying it....

Thank god for Scattered Art, you dirty, dirty, dog...

A huge thank you to all of you who followed the peg trail and got yourselves to The Fish Factory for today's first ever Scattered gathering. From the ceramics, photos and prints to the cine-film, ice and 'art snacks', today's event showed that this really is only the start of something rather warm and fluffy and possibly just a little bit naughty. Who knows what next month will bring?

Thank you artists, thank you Scattered supporters and thank you Trago Mills for all those essential art supplies and adhesive equipment that made the day such a success.

And indeed you are alert this morning, dear Scattered followers, for here you are reading the blog at such an early hour on this oh so pleasant day of rest. Your reward? Only the first ever god-dammit,-who'd-have-funked-it,-whoo-this-is-fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants-sort-of-stuff Scattered Art exhibition!

So my little art-hungry chickadees, get yourselves to (is that the sound of an obligatory drum roll I hear?)...The Fish Factory in Falmouth for today's exhibition that will run from 4pm until 7pm only.

The Fish Factory is at Falmouth Wharves, North Parade, Falmouth, TR11 2TF. Driving to Falmouth from Truro (through Penryn), take the first left when you get to the second roundabout (next to McDonald's), follow the road until about half way where you will see a turning on the left that leads down to The Fish Factory. Don't drive down but do park on the road and walk down - it'll be a 60 second meander before you reach your artistic destination. Dress rehearsal

God bless the Queen and hip, hip hooray for all that it is British and good! Yes, Scattered watched the royal wedding (bah humbug to any staunch republicans out there who pretended to ignore it instead of letting romance and hypocrisy rule the day) and, yes, we waved our Union Jack flags in delight every time Kate and Wills looked at each other and, yes, there was even some seal clapping over the Aston Martin moment. Ah, it was a joyous day and we at Scattered are very grateful for everyone at the palace for providing the nation with an event to pass the time while it holds its breathe and waits patiently for the inaugural Scattered exhibition.

Just as Kate, sorry, Catherine and William (Arthur Phillip Louis) had their wedding rehearsal to ensure their mahoosive day went smoothly, we know that you, dear Scattered follower, will be wanting to rehearse what you will be doing this time next week in order to find out the location of the Scattered exhibition. So, here we go:

1. Sit down at your computer/laptop or have your smart phone in your hand...Oh, you're doing that already.
